Umntuntu(2018)

In Umntuntu, Siwani presents the mythology of certain Xhosa clans – a people native to the southern African continent, traditionally established in the Eastern Cape province – whose members believe they were born from natural bodies of water. In the video, some figures wear traditional Xhosa garments, while others are dressed in Christian attire.
