He began his career in the 1980s, serving as the Director of Photography for films like "10 to Midnight" (1983). Greenberg's work gained significant recognition with his collaboration on the first two Terminator movies, "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" (1991), for which he received an Academy Award nomination. His extensive filmography also includes "Ghost" (1990), "Snakes on a Plane" (2006), and "Inspector Gadget" (1999). Greenberg passed away on October 30, 2025.
