Adriana Caselotti

Adriana Caselotti was born on May 16, 1916 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Working in acting, Caselotti provided the voice for the lead character in a notable animated feature released in 1938. The role remained uncredited in the film’s credits.

Caselotti’s sole credited film appearance in cinema was as the voice of Snow White in that animated production. The performance contributed to the character’s recognition in the film’s release year. Decades later, the work was formally acknowledged when Caselotti received a special honor from the studio behind the film.

Caselotti died on January 19, 1997.
