Alan Chui Chung-San was born on August 16, 1952. In the film industry, Chui is recognized for contributions in martial arts choreography and stunt work. One of Chui’s notable credits is the 1987 film A Chinese Ghost Story, where Chui served as the martial arts choreographer. The role involved designing and executing the fight sequences that are a hallmark of the film’s action sequences.
Chui also appeared on screen in earlier projects. In 1975’s The Super Inframan, Chui took a small acting role as a staff member of the Science Research Center. Two years later, in 1977’s Broken Oath, Chui appeared uncredited as one of Qi’s men. These credits reflect Chui’s involvement in both behind-the-scenes action coordination and on-screen performances during the 1970s and 1980s.
