Biography
Alexandra Root worked in film sound post-production, contributing to the technical craft of dialogue editing. In 1991, Root served as an Apprentice Sound Editor on Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man. This role involved assisting senior sound editors in assembling and refining audio elements for the film’s soundtrack, a process essential to the final clarity and cohesion of on-screen dialogue and effects.
In 1994, Root worked as an ADR Editor on The Little Rascals. In this position, Root was responsible for managing Automated Dialogue Replacement sessions, where actors re-recorded lines to match lip movements or improve audio quality.
