Born on June 16, 1990 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Amaal Mallik works across multiple musical roles including composition, background scoring, singing, and lyric writing. The son of Daboo Malik and Jyothi Malik, Amaal Mallik is also the grandson of Sardar Malik and the brother of singer Armaan Malik.
Amaal Mallik’s film work includes the 2019 film Kabir Singh, for which Amaal Mallik contributed as a playback singer. Earlier in the same year, Amaal Mallik made a debut as a composer with three songs for the film Jai Ho, followed by the song "Naina" for the film Khoobsurat.
