Ann Peacock is a screenwriter known for adapting literary works into screenplays for family-oriented films. Born in South Africa, Peacock earned an undergraduate degree in English Literature and Speech & Drama, followed by a Law degree from the University of Cape Town. After teaching at the university’s Law Faculty, Peacock relocated to Los Angeles with her family to pursue writing for film and television.
Peacock’s film credits include the screenplay for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), an adaptation of C.S. Lewis’s classic fantasy novel. She also wrote the screenplay for Kit Kittredge: An American Girl (2008), a family drama based on the book series, and the teleplay for Pictures of Hollis Woods (2007), a television adaptation of Patricia Reilly Gif…
