Anne Sopel

Anne Sopel worked in the film industry as an assistant editor on Withnail & I in 1987. In this role, Sopel supported the editorial team during post-production, contributing to the assembly and refinement of the film’s final cut. The position required coordinating with editors and other departments to ensure the footage was prepared and organized for editing.

Later, Sopel served as editor on The Making of a Lady in 2012. In this capacity, Sopel was responsible for shaping the film’s narrative structure, pacing, and continuity, working closely with the director to refine performances and visual storytelling. The role demanded precision in selecting and arranging scenes to maintain coherence and emotional impact.
