Anthony Powell

Anthony Powell was a British costume designer whose work appeared in notable film productions. Born on June 2, 1935, in Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester, Lancashire, England, UK, Powell contributed to the visual design of several high-profile projects. Among his credited filmography are Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), both under the costume design department. Powell also worked on Hook (1991) as costume designer.

Powell’s career included collaborations on films that required distinctive period or stylized attire, shaping the on-screen appearances of characters.
