Bill Perkins worked in film layout and visual development during the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Their contributions appear in two animated features from major studios, where their role shaped the visual foundations of each project. In The Little Mermaid Perkins handled layout, organizing the spatial and compositional elements that guided camera movement and scene framing. This work helped establish the film’s underwater environments and character staging within those spaces.
Later, Perkins contributed to Brother Bear in visual development, collaborating on the film’s aesthetic choices before final animation.
