He began his career at Walt Disney Studios, contributing as an animator to the groundbreaking feature film "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" (1938). Wood's work on this film, which was the first full-length animated feature produced in America, showcased his skill in bringing characters to life on screen. Later in his career, Wood served as a layout supervisor for "The Up-Standing Sitter" (1948), a short film produced by Warner Bros. Cartoons. He passed away on May 16, 1980.
