David G. Derrick Jr. was born on June 22, 1978. He is known for his contributions to the film industry, particularly in the realm of animation. Derrick's career spans over a decade, with notable credits in prominent animated features.
Derrick's first credited role in the film industry was as a Story Artist on the 2007 animated film "Bee Movie." He then served as a Storyboard Artist for the 2012 film "Rise of the Guardians." In 2010, Derrick worked on the critically acclaimed "How to Train Your Dragon" in an uncredited role as Other. More recently, in 2021, he contributed as an Additional Storyboarding Artist to the Disney animated film "Encanto."
