Dean Shek Tin was born in Beijing on June 17, 1949. Working primarily in Hong Kong cinema, the actor took on a range of roles across multiple decades. In 1968, Shek Tin appeared in Killer Darts, portraying two distinct characters: Tung Kung-Long and the Eerie Scholar. The film marked one of the early entries in a career that would span more than two decades.
By 1972, Shek Tin had a supporting part in The Human Goddess as Playboy #1. In 1977, the actor appeared in Broken Oath as a Brothel Manager, demonstrating versatility in character roles. Shek Tin’s later work included a small but notable appearance in The Bodyguard from 2016, where the actor played Old Man A. Across these credits, Shek Tin contributed to a variety of genres, from action to drama, within the Hong Kong film industry.
