Deborah works as a beauty, character and special effects make-up artist in film, television and commercials. In 2013 she won an Emmy for Outstanding Make-up for a Miniseries or a Movie (Non-Prosthetic) for Behind the Candelabra. She has received four Local 706 Guild Awards for "Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl", "How The Grinch Stole Christmas","Mad TV" and "Behind The Candelabra". Her interest in art blossomed at age six when her mother enrolled her in a painting class. She studied theater at Loyola Marymount University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree.
