Working in the field of costume and make-up for motion pictures, Head contributed to multiple films across several decades. Her work included designing or supervising wardrobe for titles such as Vertigo, Witness for the Prosecution, The Greatest Show on Earth, and Breakfast at Tiffany's.
Head's filmography also featured Ball of Fire, I Married a Witch, Pocketful of Miracles, Five Graves to Cairo, Teacher's Pet, The Bridges at Toko-Ri, Road to Bali, and Carrie. In these projects, Head operated within the costume department, handling wardrobe design or oversight. She died on October 24, 1981.
