Biography
Edward C. Carfagno worked in the film industry as an art director and later as a production designer. Born in Los Angeles, California, on November 28, 1907, Carfagno contributed to the visual design of several notable productions. In 1959, Carfagno served as art director for Ben-Hur, a film known for its elaborate sets and historical recreation. The following year, Carfagno again worked as art director on The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm, which featured imaginative and period-specific environments.
