Renowned for his uniquely surreal, darkly comedic style, he co-wrote with Lanthimos films like Dogtooth (2009), a Cannes winner, Alps (2011), earning the Golden Osella, The Lobster (2015), an Oscar nominee, The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017), and Kinds of Kindness (2024).
