Ernest Thesiger was an actor active in the film industry during the mid-20th century. Born in London, Thesiger appeared in two credited roles in the 1950s. In The Million Pound Note from 1954, Thesiger played Mr. Garrett, a bank director. Four years later, in The Horse's Mouth, Thesiger took the part of Hickson. Both films were produced in England and featured Thesiger in supporting capacities. His presence in these productions contributed to the ensemble casts of each film.
Before these appearances, Thesiger had established himself on stage in England, where he developed a reputation for distinctive character work.
