Fathali Oveisi

Fathali Oveisi was born on January 11, 1946 in Qom, Iran. Active in the film industry, Oveisi appeared in the 1990 film Hamoon in the role of Dr. Surush. The performance remains one of the credited works in a career spanning acting and directing in Iranian cinema.

Oveisi’s work includes directing two films, Sarboland and Maryam and Mitil, alongside acting credits in features such as Captain Khorshid, Baanoo, The Love-stricken, and Cactus. These projects reflect a body of work primarily associated with Persian-language cinema during the late 20th century.
