Biography
Frank Perl is a film-industry professional known for work in cinematography and camera operation. In the 1998 film Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Perl served as camera operator, contributing to the film’s visual documentation. The role involved executing the planned shots under the direction of the cinematographer, ensuring technical precision and consistency in the captured footage.
In 2005, Perl took on the role of director of photography for Supernova, overseeing the film’s photographic process. As director of photography, Perl was responsible for the overall visual style, including lighting, camera movement, and shot composition, shaping the film’s visual narrative. The work reflects Perl’s involvement in the technical and artistic aspects of filmmaking.
