Garry Owen was an actor born in Brookhaven, Mississippi on February 18, 1902. Owen appeared in two films, both in uncredited roles that contributed to the atmosphere of their respective productions. In 1944, Owen portrayed a Taxi Cab Driver in a comedy, sharing screen space with lead performers. Two years later, Owen took on the part of a Motorcycle Policeman in a 1946 film directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
Owen’s work consisted of brief but recognizable appearances in notable films of the era. The roles, though minor, placed Owen within scenes that supported the narratives of the productions. Owen died on June 1, 1951, concluding a career marked by small but memorable contributions to cinema.
