Germaine Franco

Germaine Franco is an American film composer, conductor, songwriter, arranger, record producer, and percussionist. Working across animated and live-action films, Franco has contributed to notable projects in the music departments of major productions. Franco served as Original Music Composer for the animated feature Encanto in 2021, a role that marked a milestone in the industry. Prior to this, Franco worked as orchestrator on Rio in 2011 and The Book of Life in 2014. Franco also contributed as a musician on Rio 2 in 2014. The scope of Franco’s work spans composition, orchestration, and performance, reflecting a broad engagement with film scoring processes.
