Gilda Radner

Gilda Radner was born on June 28, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan, United States. Radner was active in the film industry, appearing in minor roles in notable productions. In 1973, Radner had a small part in The Last Detail as a Nichiren Shoshu Member. Decades later, Radner appeared as Self in the 2005 documentary Live from New York: The First 5 Years of Saturday Night Live, which revisited early episodes of the influential sketch comedy series. Radner’s contributions to comedy and television were later recognized in archival retrospectives of the medium.
