Moroder’s film work spans original music composition, where the electronic soundscapes became a defining feature of late 20th-century cinema. In 1983, Moroder composed the score for Scarface, contributing to the film’s atmospheric and stylized identity through synthesized textures. Three years later, Moroder returned to film scoring with Over the Top, crafting music that reinforced the action-driven narrative.
