Hidefumi Hanatani, born on July 18, 1967, in Hiroshima, Japan, is a renowned Japanese art director. He is recognized for his significant contributions to the art direction of two prominent films: "Kill Bill: Vol. 1" (2003) and "Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair" (2011). Hanatani's work in these films showcases his ability to create visually striking and immersive environments that complement the narratives. His dedication to his craft has been acknowledged with prestigious awards, including the 39th Japan Academy Film Prize for Best Art Direction for "125 Years Memory".
