Biography
Hiroyuki Nasu was born on January 27, 1952 in Tokyo, Tokyo Prefecture, Japan. Nasu worked in the Japanese film industry as a director. In 1984, Nasu directed the film Elder Sister's Diary, which remains one of the titles associated with their filmography.
Nasu is also credited with directing Be-Bop-Highschool and Be-Bop-Highschool Kōkō yo Tarō aika, films noted for their direction at the 8th Yokohama Film Festival where Nasu received the Best Director award. Their work reflects a career centered on narrative filmmaking within the Japanese cinema context.
