Howard W. Koch, born Howard Winchel Koch on April 11, 1916 in New York City, was an American producer known for his work in film and television. He began his career in the entertainment industry, eventually making a significant impact as a producer. Koch's notable works include "Airplane II: The Sequel" in 1982, where he served as the producer, and "Ghost" in 1990, in which he held the role of executive producer. Koch passed away on February 16, 2001.
