Biography
Hsiao Ho is credited with small roles in several Hong Kong martial-arts films during the early 1980s. The earliest confirmed appearance is in Carry on Wise Guy, where Hsiao Ho is listed as an uncredited performer. In 1985 Hsiao Ho appeared in Yes, Madam! as Henry’s Thug, again in an uncredited capacity. The following year Hsiao Ho took a credited supporting role in Millionaires' Express as Siu Hau.
Before entering film work, Hsiao Ho trained at Madame Fan Fok-Fa’s The Spring And Autumn Drama School, a Peking Opera institution. The school’s curriculum typically emphasized physical discipline and stylized performance, skills that later translated into action-oriented screen roles. Hsiao Ho’s filmography consists of these three titles, all action-oriented productions from the period.
