Jake Thomas is an American actor who made an early appearance in feature film at age eleven. Born on January 30, 1990 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Thomas took a supporting role in the 2001 science-fiction drama A.I. Artificial Intelligence, playing Martin Swinton. The film, directed by Steven Spielberg, presented a narrative set in a future where advanced robots coexist with humans, and Thomas appeared as one of the human characters in the story.
Two years later, Thomas appeared in the 2004 television movie Dinocroc, portraying Michael Banning in the creature-feature narrative.
