Brubaker then took on the role of executive producer for the 1987 film "Over the Top," starring Sylvester Stallone. His most notable credit was as a producer for the 2003 comedy "Bruce Almighty," directed by Tom Shadyac and starring Jim Carrey. Brubaker passed away on January 3, 2023.
