Biography
Jan Sebastian Ballhaus worked in the film industry primarily in camera and assistant directing roles. Ballhaus is credited as Second Assistant Camera on the 1985 film After Hours, contributing to the technical execution of cinematography on that production. The role involved supporting the camera department in capturing footage according to the director’s vision, handling equipment, and assisting with setups under supervision.
Ballhaus later transitioned to directing, serving as Director on The Three Investigators in The Secret of Skeleton Island in 2007.
