Janet Meintjies is credited in casting for two English-language science fiction films produced in the United States. In 2004, Meintjies worked on the casting team for Zenon: Z3, a Disney Channel Original Movie set in a futuristic space environment. The film follows a teenager navigating life aboard a space station while uncovering corporate espionage.
In 2008, Meintjies again contributed to casting for Starship Troopers 3: Marauder, the third installment in a military science fiction franchise. The film continues the story of interstellar warfare between humans and an insectoid alien species, with Meintjies involved in the selection of actors for its ensemble cast.
