Biography
Joe Darko is a visual effects artist known for contributing to animated films. Darko worked on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, released in 2018, as part of the visual effects team. In 2023, Darko again contributed to the Spider-Man franchise with Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, maintaining a role in the visual effects department.
Darko served as a lead animator on The Mitchells vs. The Machines, released in 2021, where they were responsible for key animation sequences. In 2022, Darko held the same position on The Sea Beast, leading the animation work for the film’s visual storytelling. Darko is also attached to the upcoming Zootopia 2, scheduled for release in 2025, where they will contribute to the animation team.
