Joel King worked as a camera operator in the film industry, contributing to the visual capture of motion pictures. King’s first credited role was as a camera operator for the 1976 film Carrie, assisting in the technical execution of cinematography for the production. This position involved operating camera equipment and collaborating with the principal cinematographer to achieve the film’s visual style.
Later, King served as the "B" camera operator for the 1992 drama Crossing the Bridge. In this role, King operated a secondary camera unit, supporting the main camera team by capturing additional angles and coverage.
