John D. Schofield was born on January 7, 1933 in Yorkshire, England. Schofield worked in film production, contributing to multiple projects across different roles. In 1988, Schofield served as Associate Producer for The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!, a comedy film. Schofield later held the position of Unit Production Manager for The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear in 1991, overseeing logistical and operational aspects of production. In 1994, Schofield worked as Unit Production Manager on I'll Do Anything, a film featuring a mix of narrative and musical sequences.
