Rutchland's journey in cinema began in the early 1980s as a Construction Foreman on Francis Ford Coppola's "Rumble Fish." He then transitioned to the role of Construction Coordinator for the 2004 action-comedy "Taxi," directed by Tim Story. Demonstrating his adaptability, Rutchland moved into the role of Art Director for the 2016 installment of the Bourne series, "Jason Bourne," under the direction of Paul Greengrass.
