John M. Dwyer, born on August 25, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan, USA, was a prominent figure in the film industry, known for his work in art and set decoration. He began his career in the late 1970s and worked on numerous high-profile films throughout his career. Dwyer's first notable credit was for the iconic thriller "Jaws" in 1975, where he served as the set decorator. He continued to work on prominent films such as "Beverly Hills Cop" in 1984 and "Coal Miner's Daughter" in 1980. Dwyer's work was particularly notable in the Star Trek franchise, where he served as the set decorator for five films, including "Star Trek: Generations" in 1994 and "Star Trek: Nemesis" in 2002. His final film credit was for "Alien Resurrection" in 1997. John M. Dwyer passed away on September 15, 2018.
