Jose N. Carreon was born on March 19, 1944, in Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines. Carreon worked in the film industry as a screenwriter, contributing to scripts that became part of popular cinema. The screenwriter’s earliest verified credit is the 1984 horror anthology Shake, Rattle & Roll, where Carreon shared screenplay duties for the film’s segments.
Carreon also wrote the screenplay for the 1986 action-drama Batang Quiapo.
