Joseph C. Nemec III is an American artist known for contributions to film production design and art direction. Born on January 1, 1948 in Little Rock, Arkansas, Nemec has worked in the art department across multiple genres, shaping the visual aesthetics of several notable productions.
Nemec’s filmography includes work on The Goonies (1985) as Assistant Art Director, assisting in the creation of the film’s distinctive sets and environments. In Judgment Night (1993), Nemec served as Production Designer, overseeing the film’s visual design and ensuring consistency in its look. Later, Nemec contributed to The Hills Have Eyes (2006) in the same role, contributing to the remake’s production design.
