Joseph Zito

Joseph Zito, born on May 14, 1946, in New York, USA, is an American film director known for his work in the film industry. He gained recognition in the 1980s for directing several low-budget action B-movies, including "The Prowler" in 1981. Zito's filmography also includes "His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th," a documentary released in 2010 in which he appears as himself. In the mid-1980s, Zito spent a year in pre-production on the Cannon version of Spider-Man, a project that ultimately did not materialize.
