Biography
Karel Reisz was born on July 21, 1926 in Ostrava, Czechoslovakia. Known for contributions to the film industry, Reisz worked as a director and writer. Among Reisz’s credited projects is the 1960 film Saturday Night and Sunday Morning, where Reisz served as director. Earlier, Reisz co-wrote Momma Don’t Allow in 1956. These works reflect Reisz’s involvement in filmmaking during the mid-20th century.
