Kim Tae-yang

Kim Tae-yang is a film professional whose work has been recognized at several South Korean short film festivals. Their short film Snail received awards at the Cheongju International Short Film Festival and the Daegu Short Film Festival. Another short film, Seoul Cinema, won the Audience Award at the Seoul International Independent Film Festival.

Kim Tae-yang made their feature directorial debut with A Dance That Speaks, released in 2025. The film marks their first known credit as a director in a feature-length format. Prior to this, their work in short films had established them within the South Korean independent film circuit.
