Biography
Lee Toland Krieger is an American filmmaker based in Los Angeles. Born on January 24, 1983, Krieger developed an early interest in cinema, which took root during adolescence. At age 13, a neighbor who worked as a film producer introduced Krieger to a production set, an experience that sparked a lasting engagement with the medium. This exposure led to a sustained involvement in filmmaking as a director and screenwriter.
Krieger’s work in the industry includes directing The Age of Adaline, a feature film released in 2015. The project reflects Krieger’s approach to narrative-driven storytelling, focusing on character and thematic exploration within a dramatic framework.
