Bricusse's career spanned over four decades, during which he worked on numerous films, primarily as a lyricist and writer. Some of his notable works include "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" (1971), for which he wrote the screenplay, and "Scrooge" (1970), where he served as the lyricist. His talent extended to producing, as seen in the 2022 film "Scrooge: A Christmas Carol". Bricusse's work also included providing lyrics for films like "Hook" (1991) and "Revenge of the Pink Panther" (1978). He passed away on October 19, 2021.
