Lorne Peterson is a Canadian actor credited with brief, uncredited appearances in two major science-fiction films. Born on October 20, 1944 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Peterson is primarily recognized for roles within the Star Wars franchise. In Star Wars [1977], Peterson appeared as a Massassi Base Rebel Scout, a minor but visible part in the film’s opening sequence on Yavin 4. Decades later, Peterson returned to the franchise in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace [1999], portraying an uncredited Mos Espa citizen during the Tatooine scenes.
