Max Kleven

Max Kleven worked in film as an actor and in stunt and second-unit roles. Born on August 16, 1933, Kleven contributed to productions through physical performance and coordination. In 1969, Kleven is credited as performing stunts in The Good Guys and the Bad Guys.

Kleven also worked behind the camera in a supervisory capacity. In 1989, Kleven served as Second Unit Director on Back to the Future Part II. The role involved overseeing a separate unit that handled action sequences, location work, or additional photography distinct from the main production. Kleven’s involvement reflects a specialization in managing stunt-driven or action-oriented segments of a film.
