Mel Wesson is credited in sound-related roles for several major films. In 2003, Wesson served as a music arranger for Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. The film’s score, composed by Klaus Badelt and Hans Zimmer, relied on Wesson’s arrangements to shape its immersive auditory landscape, blending orchestral and electronic elements to enhance the adventure’s tone.
In 2005, Wesson contributed as an original music composer for King Kong, working alongside James Newton Howard to craft the film’s score.
