His notable works include "The Greatest Show on Earth" (1952), where he played the role of a picked-pocket customer, and "The Return of Frank James" (1940), in which he portrayed an uncredited reporter. Kibbee also took on the role of a Baltimore postman in "Tomorrow Is Forever" (1946) and appeared as an uncredited chauffeur in "Little Big Shot" (1935). His older brother, Guy Kibbee, was also a popular character actor in the film industry.
