Hashimoto's directorial debut came with "Dragon Ball Z: Bardock - The Father of Goku" in 1990. He subsequently directed two more films in the Dragon Ball Z series, "Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge" and "Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug," both released in 1991. His work on these films showcases his skill in adapting popular manga series into engaging cinematic experiences.
