Biography
Ng Man-Ching worked as a gaffer on the 2007 film Lust, Caution. The role involved managing lighting and electrical setups to support the visual atmosphere of the production. Prior to that, Ng served as director of photography on Infernal Affairs II, handling camera and lighting operations to capture the film’s visual style. The work required coordinating with the camera and lighting departments to achieve the intended look for the sequences.
Ng returned as director of photography on Sleepwalker in 2011, continuing to oversee the film’s cinematography. The position entailed selecting camera angles, managing exposure, and ensuring consistency in the visual tone throughout the production. The credited roles reflect a focus on technical and artistic control over the image in each film.
